3 Steps to Overcoming any Shipper Objection

Experienced broker’s have heard their share of shipper objections.  Yet, they still have a healthy book of business…and you’re just not quite there yet.

So what makes these broker’s any different than you?

It’s their ability to handle, eliminate and capitalize on shipper’s objections…

Instead of just hanging up the phone and moving on to the next cold call.

Defeating an objection from a shipper is absolutely possible, and it’s an essential skill you need to develop as a freight broker.

When you first start making calls you might hear things like:

“We don’t use broker’s they are too expensive”

“All our freight is customer routed”

“Broker’s can’t be trusted.”

All of these are some of the most common objections, and there is an easy system you can follow to not only eliminate them for good, but break through them and earn business from shippers you thought were impossible.

The Objection Elimination process consists of 3 steps:

Reinforce the objection

Redirect with a question

Re-establish contact.
